How to register for a sales tax permit in Maryland
Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.
After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, you will receive your Maryland sales tax ID, PIN, and filing frequency in the mail.
Once you receive your sales tax ID and PIN in the mail, you can create a login at Maryland Tax Connect to access your sales tax account.
Click Sign Up.
Click Register for a Maryland Tax Connect Account.
The website will then ask you for your login information. Once you finish, you will receive an email confirmation with your temporary password and confirmation number.
Please proceed by logging into your newly created account.
Click register as an administrator on gain access to your entity. The website will ask for your Maryland tax ID and PIN, please have them ready.
