Business Personal Property tax account
If your business has physical nexus in South Carolina, a Business Personal Property (BPP) tax account will be automatically created for you. This tax account requires an annual filing, due within four months after the end of your fiscal year. You can manage and file this account by logging into your South Carolina MyDORWAY portal.
Because the BPP tax filing covers more than just your sales records, it is advisable to coordinate with your accountant or CPA to establish an appropriate filing plan. For detailed information on BPP tax requirements and instructions, please refer to the South Carolina Department of Revenue’s official Business Personal Property page here.
