How to register for a sales tax permit in North Dakota
Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.
The ND TAP is the North Dakota system for sales tax filings. After Sidr Tax finishes your registrations, you will receive your sales tax ID, filing frequency in the mail.
Once you receive your sales tax ID, filing frequency and registration code, please create a login at ND TAP to access your sales tax account.
Once you finish creating your ND TAP account, you will receive an authorization code in the mail. If you need it when you log on for the first time. Please setup Autofile after you have successfully logged on.
