How to register for a sales tax permit in North Carolina
If your state is registered through Streamlined Sales Tax, read this guide.
After Sidr Tax finishes your registration, we will provide you with your sales tax ID. You can then access your account using your sales tax ID and FEIN at North Carolina Online Filing and Payments. Please note that North Carolina doesn't have an online account, so as long as you can see your business name after providing your sales tax ID, your setup is complete.
