How to register for a sales tax permit in New York State
Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.
New York DTF Online Service is the New York State system for filing sales tax. After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, you will receive your New York State sales tax ID, filing frequency, and 5-digit security PIN in the mail. You can also see your sales tax ID within the Sidr Tax app. You can access that information by going to the registration page and clicking on the details button.
Once you receive your sales tax ID, filing frequency, and 5-digit security PIN in the mail, you can create a login at New York DTF Online Service to access your sales tax account.
After creating the New York DTF Online Service account, you will be able to access the New York State Sales Tax Webfile through this link.

Create your New York DTF Online Service Login
