How to register for a sales tax permit in Missouri
After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, a welcome letter will be sent to the mailing address listed on the application. The welcome letter will include your Missouri Tax Identification Number (MOID), a 4-digit PIN used for online filing, the start date of your business account, and the filing frequency for your business.
Once you receive your sales tax ID, access code, and filing frequency in the mail, you can create a login at Missouri MyTax to access your sales tax account.
Create a Missouri MyTax Login
- Click Create an Account, and then Administrator for My Individual and Business accounts on the right hand side.

- Provide your login information.

- You should see the registration confirmation page. The means that your login is setup, however you don't have access to your business yet. Please continue.

- You will receive an email from Missouri MyTax that looks like the following screenshot. You can find the temporary username and password in there.

Register for administrator access to your business
This is a continuation of the Missouri online login registration process. Please make sure you have completed previous steps.
- Login using the temporary username and password that you received.

- Click on Manage Accounts to claim access to your business.

- Choose the first option to validate your business entity.

- Validate your business entity information.
- MOID: Please find your Missouri Tax Identification Number (MOID) in your registration welcome letter in the mail.
- PIN: Please find the 4-digit PIN in your registration welcome letter in the mail.
- Business Administrator SSN: The SSN should be the same as the SSN you provided us.

You should now have online access to your business!
