How to register for a sales tax permit in Connecticut
Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.
After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, you will receive your Connecticut sales tax ID, and filing frequency in the mail.
Once you receive your sales tax ID, and filing frequency in the mail, you can create a login at Connecticut myconneCT.
A Corporation Business Tax account will also be created as part of the sales tax license registration process. If you do not have business income attributed to Connecticut, you can choose to close the account. We are happy to assist you with the closure of this account.
