How to setup Autofile for Rhode Island

Provide Sales Tax ID

You can find your sales tax ID in the Rhode Island Taxpayer Portal. It's next to your sales/filing account. Please provide it to us in the Autofile config form.

Locate your sales tax ID

Grant Third-party Access To Your Rhode Island Taxpayer Portal Account

From the Tax Account page, select Profile Information and Manage Authorized Users from the drop-down menu.

Select "Manage Authorized Users"

From the Manage Authorize User page, select the Add New Authorized User button.

Click "ADD NEW AUTHORIZED USER"

Please enter Sidr Tax's User ID and Confirmation Number:
User ID: sidrtax2

Enter Sidr Tax User ID: sidrtax2

Click the check box next to your business under View. Add an early enough start date (i.e. 01/01/2024), and leave the end date empty. Apply a Template by granting an Access Type to the New User. Select FULL ACCESS from the drop-down options. Click SAVE.

Add access details

Review access request information, and click SUBMIT.

Submit access request
