How to setup Autofile for Illinois

Provide Sales Tax License ID



You can find your 8-digit sales tax license ID by logging into your Illinois MyTax account.



Provide 9-digit zipcode



You can find your 9-digit zipcode by logging into your Illinois MyTax account.



Sign the Illinois Tax Authorization Form



Sidr Tax is an Illinois Certified Service Provider (CSP). To allow us to electronically transmit your returns, You need to sign the Tax Authorization Form.

Once you sign the form, please drop it in the Illinois Autofile configuration popup.



Allow third-party access to your Illinois MyTax account



Please allow third-party access to your Illinois MyTax account using the following steps.





Allow third-party access. and also change the default account access to File & Pay.





If you don't see the third-party access option above, you are not logged in as an admin.

After you allow third-party logon, let us know through chat/email and we will request access to your IL account again.

Once the access is setup, you will be able to see the Sidr Tax logon information on the third-party access page.

(Optional) Grant third-party access to your Illinois MyTax account



If you have previously granted access to Sidr Tax, please make sure that our access is File & Pay. This step is not necessary if your default account access is File & Pay.
