Sidr Tax Pricing and Subscription Plan Overview

Upon sign up of your Sidr Tax account you will eventually be routed to the Subscription plan page, This page is always accessible on the left hand panel of your Sidr Tax account.



Understanding Billing with Sidr Tax



Sidr Tax is billed through Shopify, which simplifies your payment process. The charges for Sidr Tax appear on your regular Shopify invoice, consolidating your payments in one place. This setup means that any changes to your Shopify account, including app installations and uninstallations, directly impact your billing.

Sidr Tax offers 3 different subscription plans.



In order to properly select your plan you will want a basic understanding of what your requirements are so that you are not overspending on a plan that you do not require.

Here is a basic overview of each plan and it's projected costs based on a hypothetical account:

Starter



Starter is for small ecommerce stores, and typically with only 1 Nexus state.
Starter has a monthly base price of $19/Month.
250 transactions included, each additional transaction costs $0.05.
No multi-user Support.
No multi-store support.
Autofile charge of $45 per file, with 1 free Autofile per quarter.
Registration at one-time charge of $150 per state.

Here is an example breakdown of the Monthly costs based on an account that has 175 transactions and 1 Autofile per month.

Base Plan Cost: $19 per month.
Transaction Costs: $0 (175 is within the included 250 transactions limit).
Autofile Costs: $30 (1 Autofile at $45 per filing, with 1 free filing per quarter w).
Total Monthly Cost: Base Plan Cost + Monthly Cost for Autofiles = $19 + $30 = $49 per month.

Growth



Growth is for medium-size ecommerce stores, and typically with multiple Nexus states.
Growth has the a base price of $39/Month.
1000 transactions included, each additional transaction costs $0.03.
Multi-store support.
Multi-user support.
Autofile Charge of $40 per file, with 1 free Autofile per quarter.
Registration at one-time charge of $150 per state.

Here is an example breakdown of the Monthly costs based on an account with 750 transactions and 4 Autofiles per month.

Base Plan Cost: $39 per month.
Transaction Costs: $0 (750 is within the included 1000 transactions limit).
Autofile Costs: $147 (4 Autofiles at $40 per filing, with 1 free filing per quarter).
Total Monthly Cost: Base Plan Cost + Monthly Cost for Autofiles = $39 + $147 = $186 per month.

Enterprise



Enterprise is for large ecommerce stores, and typically with more than 10 Nexus states.
Enterprise has the a base price of $89/Month.
2500 transactions included, each additional transaction costs $0.02.
Multi-store support.
Multi-user support.
Autofile Charge of $35 per file, with 1 free Autofile per quarter.
Registration at one-time charge of $150 per state.

Here is an example breakdown of the Monthly costs based on an account with 3000 transactions and 15 Autofiles per month

Base Plan Cost: $89 per month.
Transaction Costs: $10 (3000 exceeds the 2500 transactions limit).
Autofile Costs: $514 (15 Autofiles at $35 per filing, with 1 free filing per quarter).
Total Monthly Cost: Base Plan Cost + Transaction Costs + Monthly Cost for Autofiles = $89 + $10 + $514 = $613 per month.

Plan Upgrade



If you are on a lower tier plan and want to upgrade to lower your Autofile costs, you can change your plan any time you want. Likewise, you can also lower your plan if your transaction volume decreases.



You will be routed to an approval page for four acceptance.



Once approved your billing and features will be updated to the new plan!

Payment Method



Sidr Tax app charges are included in your monthly Shopify subscription bill. You do not need to provide a separate payment method for app charges.

FAQ



I have multiple stores on Shopify, which of my Shopify stores is used for Billing?



The store with the plan name is the store that will be used for billing, when reviewing your reports the account will be called "_ Starter_ 2" you can verify the store by taking the series of alphanumerals and numbers and plug it into "_ .myshopify.com" to see the store it is linked to.

What is a transaction?



A transaction is either a sale or a refund. So for example, if the customer returned your product, it will be considered as 2 transactions. Sidr Tax natively support returns, so tax is deductible from your total tax to remit.

Does the transaction limit include sales to states where we don't have Nexus?



Yes, all transactions are included in the transaction limit. This is because Sidr Tax needs to process them to know which transactions should be included in your tax reports. However, since the Nexus limit is typically 20 transactions per month, there shouldn't be that many transactions per months in those non-Nexus states.
