# Sales Tax registration Completed - next steps

## Registration Status

Congratulations, your sales tax license registration has been completed!

"Completed" means the state registration is completed and Autofile is fully set up. You can skip to the tax collection section.

## Registration Details and State Logins

Click on the **Details** button, and you will be able to see relevant information for this particular state, including your sales tax ID.

Please note that you won't be able to modify the account info on the registration page. If you are trying to provide us your account info for Autofile, please check out our [Autofile setup guide](https://help.sidr.io/en-us/article/how-to-setup-sales-tax-autofile-1vxgwce/).

## Registration Files

You can access registration-related files by clicking on the **Get Files** button.

## Collect Sales Tax

You can now legally start charging tax. Find your sales tax ID in the registration details, and add this ID to your Shopify tax configuration. Here is [an article](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/taxes/registration/setup) from Shopify about how to set it up, or follow the steps below.

1. From the Shopify admin, go to **Settings** > [Taxes and duties](https://admin.shopify.com/settings/taxes).
2. In the **Manage sales tax collection** section, click your country or region.
3. Click **Collect sales tax**.
4. In **Tax number**, enter your tax number. If you have applied for a tax number, but don't have one yet, then leave this field blank. You can update it when you receive your number.
5. Click **Collect tax**.
6. Optional: To add more regions and account numbers, click **Collect sales tax**.

## Sales Tax Autofile

Your Autofile has been fully set up, so you can rest assured that your filings are submitted on schedule!
