# How to register for a sales tax permit in Pennsylvania

| Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.

### Create a [myPATH](https://mypath.pa.gov/_/) Account

After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, you will receive your Pennsylvania sales tax ID, and filing frequency in the mail. You can also find your sales tax ID in the Sidr Tax app. You can access that information by going to the [registration page](https://tax.sidr.io/registrations) and clicking the details button.

Once you receive your sales tax ID, and filing frequency in the mail, you can create an account on [myPATH](https://mypath.pa.gov/_/).
