# How to register for a sales tax permit in North Carolina

### Access Your Sales Tax Account at [North Carolina Online Filing and Payments](https://eservices.dor.nc.gov/sau/contact.jsp)

After Sidr Tax finishes your registration, we will provide you with your sales tax ID. You can then access your account using your sales tax ID and FEIN at [North Carolina Online Filing and Payments](https://eservices.dor.nc.gov/sau/contact.jsp). Please note that North Carolina doesn't have an online account, so as long as you can see your business name after providing your sales tax ID, your setup is complete.
