You will either receive a 4-digit PIN or a 6-digit passcode. Please make sure you have completed previous steps. * If you are newly registered, select **I have not filed any tax returns with the Division of Taxation yet**. * If you have previously filed sales tax with New Jersey, select **I have filed a tax return with the Division of Taxation**. ![Select option to verify administrator access to your business](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/e/1/6/0/e1600c862ede4800/group-10893_1jwy57n.png) If you are newly registered: * Provide account verification information. * Taxpayer ID: Your TAX ID. * Business Name: Your business name provided at registration. * STAR Access Passcode: 6 digit passcode. **If you are registered after May 2025, you might receive both a 6-digit and a 4-digit passcode, only the 6-digit code will work.** If your business was registered before May 2025 and was assigned a 4-digit PIN, you can convert it into a 6-digit passcode by adding two zeros at the beginning. For example, if your PIN is **1234**, it would become **001234**. ![Provide administrator verification information](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/-/e/1/6/0/e1600c862ede4800/group-10894_148130k.png) If you have filed sales tax before: * Provide account verification information. * Taxpayer ID: Your TAX ID. * Business Name: Your business name provided at registration. * STAR Access Passcode: 6 digit passcode. **If you are registered after May 2025, you might receive both a 6-digit and a 4-digit passcode, only the 6-digit code will work.** If your business was registered before May 2025 and was assigned a 4-digit PIN, you can convert it into a 6-digit passcode by adding two zeros at the beginning. For example, if your PIN is **1234**, it would become **001234**. * Tax Type: SALES AND USE - REGULAR RATE (ST-50 SALES AND USE) * Amount from line 1 of most recent return: If you have Autofile with Sidr Tax, you can review the latest filing form [here](https://tax.sidr.io/autofile?shipState=nj&page=1§ion=filingHistory).
