# How to register for a sales tax permit in Massachusetts

| Sidr Tax creates the sales tax account for you. However, this state requires that you have your own login and we access your account as a third-party.

### Access your sales tax account with your [MassTaxConnect](https://mtc.dor.state.ma.us/mtc/_/) login

After Sidr Tax applies for a sales tax permit on your behalf, you will receive your account login from us. You can access that information by going to the [registration page](https://tax.sidr.io/registrations) and clicking the details button.

You can then access an account at [MassTaxConnect](https://mtc.dor.state.ma.us/mtc/_/). You will see your sales tax ID in your account.
